“三看”
1. 看动词，找宾语
动词基本逻辑结构：①vt ② vi ③ linking V.
某个动词可能同时具有以上三种用法,只是某种用法最常见，别的用法相对少见。
Can you smell something?
The flowers smell good.
I’ve got a cold and I can’t smell.
The saddest thing in life is when you meet that special someone and you know it will never be and sooner or later, you’ll have to let go.
2.看连词，分从句
Step：①分清主从句 ②分清从句类型 ③分清从句的修饰关系 ④从句与被修饰词的分隔结构
The Geeks assumed that the structure of language had some connection with the process of thought, which took root in Europe long before people realized how diverse languages could be.
希腊人认为，语言结构与人类思维过程之间存在着某种联系。这一观点在人们尚未认识到语言的千差万别之前就早在欧洲扎了根。

3.看介词，定成分
介词与v n adj搭配
成分状语补主语，后置定语补语，补语
